The annual Town Gala will take place on Saturday 2nd July. We will be starting with the parade which will depart from St Wilfrid’s High School at 11am. The parade includes, Gala Queen, Pennine Jazz Parade Band, Purston Infants School, Girnhill Lane Infants School, Tom’s Club, Stilt Walkers, Jesters Sports Acro, Open Top Bus plus much more.
There will be many charity tables so please come along and support the good causes on the day.
We have events taking place throughout the day. These include school sports, funfair, zorbs, segways, trampolines, climbling wall and bouncy castle. So plenty to keep the children entertained.
There will be different food stalls with a variety of food on offer.
We also will be holding a Cake Decorating competition. So if you fancy winning ‘THE GREAT FEV BAKE OFF’ bring your cake to the Gala where it will be judged by the Mayor of Featherstone.
